Pacific Drafting, INC. in 1985 began providing shop drawings for steel fabricators. Since then, the company has grown from a two man crew to employing over 25 detailers using the latest detailing software with 22 Licensed SDS/2 Workstations as well as numerous AutoCAD Workstations.

Detailing projects in both the Commercial and Industrial sectors such as Hospitals, Stadiums, Churches, Schools, Power Plants....etc, working with numerous steel fabricators across the United States.

Pacific Drafting, INC are members of NISD, AISC & CSDA.

The owners and Project Managers are Certified Detailers under the individual Detailer Certification Program and the Company is a Certified Quality Procedure Member of the National Institute of Steel Detailers.

Fred Tinker, the President of PDI, is the President of the California Chapter for the NISD.
